Consume & Create is looking for a versatile, creative developer to join our studio in Denver, CO. We work with a variety of clients in different ways, so the right candidate will be someone who embraces new challenges and is a strong collaborator and communicator. Web development tools are constantly shifting; we don’t expect candidates to have experience with every language or framework, but candidates must be open to adapting to new technologies. As we tend to lean more into the frontend, the right candidate will also understand design and possess a keen eye for details that set interactive work apart.
We are a growing creative studio in the process of building and diversifying our interactive team. We value creativity, inclusivity, hard work, and positivity. Our goal is to create innovative and unique work, which is why we are constantly seeking perspectives that challenge our status quo. Prior to the pandemic, we worked in an open, collaborative space in the northern part of Denver’s RiNo Neighborhood. Currently our work is done through virtual collaboration, but we plan to return to a studio space when possible with a mix of virtual and in-person collaboration.
Our team is comprised of people who are just starting out all the way to people with 15 years of experience at places like Madwell, Legwork Studio, A Small Print Shop and Factory Design Labs. Good work and extra effort doesn’t go unnoticed here. Here are a few projects we are proud of from this past year:
We are an equal opportunity employer. This is backed up by our beliefs in the value of diversity and inclusion:
As creatives we shape the world around us by influencing the quality of experiences and interactions people have with products, services, and brands. To ensure the work we are doing on behalf of our clients is as intentional, equitable and inclusive as possible, it is paramount that our solutions are informed by diverse perspectives and lived experiences—that mirror the world we want to live in.
That’s why for us diversity is not a box to be checked or a corporate goal. It is essential for producing meaningful work that transforms communities—and ultimately our world—for the better.
In addition to competitive salaries, we offer health, vision and dental insurance. We also understand that life has been disrupted by the pandemic, and can support flexibility in work schedules. We trust our employees to manage their own time; we have an open vacation policy and understand that a full time developer may now also be a part-time daycare operator, assistant teacher, and/or professional roommate avoider. :)
Candidates will be selected based on relevant work, experience and communication skills. Send examples of your work, your resume and a cover letter to email@example.com.
